The Lumina Project

The NBBP Mentorship Program

Also in the Fall of 2013, we launched the Nota Bene Baroque Players Mentorship Program. This program offers aspiring young music students, interested in baroque performance practice, the opportunity to learn period performance techniques in a professional ensemble setting. Successful candidates are invited to join NBBP’s rehearsals and concerts, and if they choose, study privately with a baroque specialist. This unique Mentorship Program not only offers students valuable ensemble experience, but also provides the setting of a Baroque orchestra which many post-secondary institutions in Canada do not offer.   (more information…)
