A Man of Many Hats
Fame, business savvy, wealth, humour. These are qualities that seem to characterize Georg Philipp Telemann. But who was this prolific composer, who captured the attention of all of Germany, and garnered the utmost respect from the likes of J.S. Bach and George Frideric Handel? This concert recognizes Telemann for his genius, exploring his inspirations and his influence upon other composers, tracing the story behind one of the greatest minds of the Baroque.
